About Blatman Design

Resa Blatman has been practicing graphic design since 1995, when she graduated from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design in Boston. Resa started Blatman Design in 1997, and continued to freelance for local design studios while building her own client list. Over the years, she has continued to maintain a small but thriving design studio, focusing on personal attention and detail to design for her clients. With the changes in technology, the studio spends most of its time working on web-based projects, where Resa's husband, Stefan Cooke, does the majority of design and coding. Print-based projects remain a continued passion for the studio, however.

Resa is an instructor at Massachusetts College of Art and Design, where she's been teaching Final Portfolio in graphic design since 1997. In 2006, Resa graduated with an MFA in Painting from Boston University; please visit to see her artwork.

We pride ourselves on being a small studio, where the service is personal and the end result distinctive and functional. For more information and pricing on a project, please use the contact page to send us an email. Thanks very much!

Web design and support

Stefan uses Adobe Dreamweaver to incorporate XHTML, javascript/jquery, and CSS into valid, affordable, standards-compliant websites. He also uses Wordpress as a framework for blogging and as a powerful content management system.

Stefan, who has been coding websites since 1996, works with clients to update their current site or to create a new one from scratch. He can build a site using a template designed by Resa or one designed by the client, or he can work with the client to choose a third-party template, saving time and money.

If needed, Blatman Design offers their clients web hosting for a small
annual fee.
